Esta banda de punk rock esta integrado por Mike Herrera (lider), Yuri Ruley (baterista) y Tom Wisniewski.
La música de estos muchachos ha sido utilizada por MTV para algunos de sus programas como "MTV Sports"; también ha participado en recitales con Sex Pistols, por ejemplo y otras bandas reconocidas.
Formada en 1992 en Bermenton, Washington en los Estados Unidos. Originalmente se llamaban Magnified Plaid, cuando tenían alrededor de 15 años, tocaban música similar a las de The Descendents. A los integrantes del grupo no querían realmente llamarse Magnified Plaid, por tal motivo el nombre fue cambiado a M.P. abreviando el anterior nombre. En la letra de Yuri (Baterista), los puntos se convierten en "Xs" y desde que el hizo los afiches de los shows de la banda, el nombre de 4 letras impactó. Andy Husted se fue de la banda dos años después para continuar con sus estudios. Fue reemplazado por Tom, el actual guitarrista.
